Vine Images Inc. Julie Johnson Photography is located in Burlington, Ontario, Canada and was established in November of the year 2001. Julie Johnson has been voted Burlington’s best photographer and Vine Images Burlington’s best portrait studio for several years consecutively. Julie has built an enviable reputation for the quality of her work, her caring attitude and innovative ideas as well as her patience with children of all ages. As a mother of three, Julie started by photographing her own children as well as the families of her close friends. Soon after word spread, Julie had many requests from other families for her photographic talents.
Creativity, professionalism and attention to detail are the hallmarks of Julie’s work. Julie and her team welcome each client with discretion, good humour and a refreshing innovative flair. Julie Johnson attributes her creative photographic approach to her background in art where she studied how lighting, composition colour and design influence a photograph. I just wanted to show you all how thoughtful the two girls I work with on a daily basis are. You see, I am turning 35 on Saturday, yes 35. I don’t know how I feel about it yet. We will have to see. 30 was very hard for me and now 35???? This morning while I was up making coffee, Ingrid and Eden made this beautiful display on my desk. It almost brought tears to my eyes. Just kidding! It brought me the biggest SMILE ever because cupcakes are my absolute favourite. They even made my favourite Cherry Bit with vanilla icing and sprinkles. It is now 6:25pm and there is only one lonely one left with the letter A sitting beside me.
This is Ingrid for those of you who have heard her beautiful voice, but not seen her beautiful face.

Jill Donahue from Excellerate came in today to have a few corporate headshots taken. She did a fantastic job! Take a look! We did a few combinations of clothing and backgrounds to give her more marketing options with her image.
Anna & Josh were married at Carmen’s Banquet Centre in Hamilton, on December 11th, 2009. It was a very windy and cold day but never-the-less the wedding & reception turned out absolutely beautiful. This wedding blog is dedicated to Martin Dragon Nguyen. On New Years eve tragedy struck this beautiful family when Anna’s younger brother Martin (just 14 years of age) died suddenly of Cardiomyopathy. A disease of the heart muscle which went undetected his whole life. I have been thinking and praying for you and your entire family daily. Just like myself Anna’s mother had two girls and then her baby boy. I remember speaking with her that day about how precious little boys are to their mothers. I can’t imagine the hurt that you are going through. May these pictures bring joy to you, and your entire family. He was such an amazing young man who was loved dearly by all the people in his life. You were such a beautiful bride and an amazing big Sister, Anna! I was honoured to be part of your day and will never forget your family.

When I arrived at the Westin Prince Hotel to photograph the Bride, I found Tricia getting a SURPRISE foot massage from her soon to be husband. I could not resist capturing the moment. For all you future Grooms out there…take notes! What a great idea!

Tricia’s dress was purchased at Promises & Lace bridal store in Burlington, Ontario and designed by Pronovias.
The wedding and reception took place at the Estates of Sunnybrook .It is a renowned Toronto Ontario wedding venue that has been delighting brides since 1983. This unique wedding venue hosts events for 25 to 150 guests in two historic mansions set on 42 acres of landscaped gardens. Walter from Decor With Grandeur Inc did a fantastic job of decorating the venue and made sure everything went as planned. He was a pleasure to work with! Tricia & Gabriels cake was from Dufflet’s Bakery in Toronto.
