This was such a fun session! Thank you Tara & Chris for being such great sports! Can’t wait for the wedding!

Some of you may have seen this ship before, it is only a few metres from the Queen Elizabeth Highway on the way to Niagara Falls. It was a bit of a surprise when we saw it for the first time. My kids like to call it the the Pirate Ship. It has been in Jordan Harbour, at the Beacon Hotel marina, since 1997. The story has it that the ship was built in Lauzon, Quebec, 1914 and was originally used as a St. Lawrence River ferry. It was called Le Progress. In 1991 a wooden facade was built over the steel hull and the masts and crows nests were added to make her look like Jacques Cartier’s 1535 ship Le Grande Hermine. She was re-named Le Grande Hermine and used as a restaurant in Montreal. After a few moves and some unpaid dock-age fees, she was towed to her present location where she has been ever since. A fire in 2003 burned off all the wood finishing. On Easter weekend, a few of my girlfriends and I took our kids over to see it up close for the first time. I brought my camera…take a look…

10-word review: Willow knew what she wanted, but had to find her voice

I had the pleasure of meeting Lana when she came in for a headshot. First of all I LOVED her name! Great for what she does! I was so excited to hear about her book that she would be releasing in the near future. “Willow’s Whispers”. I could not wait to celebrate with her at her book launch party. I took my camera to capture the event. Congratulations Lana!

Kiwi Magazine Review: Everyone assumed that Willow agreed because she never complained and she never said a word. But, Willow wanted to be the line leader. She made a magic microphone out of a tp tube and magically finds her voice and speaks up for herself. When the magic microphone breaks, Willow realizes that she could speak up without any magic. The text is well-written and age-appropriate, and the illustrations are whimsical and appealing. Any child who has a little trouble speaking up for him or herself might just find their own voice with the help of this book.
Here are some images of her party…

We just took a little trip to Ottawa. It was a trip planned by my husband for my 35th birthday. We had a great time. Here are a few shots captured while I was there.

This is the night Canada won. What a fantastic night! This was the view from our Hotel room a few hours after.
Well the Holidays are just around the corner and we are swamped with work! I just wanted to share with you a few of my favourites that I have taken over the past few weeks.

One thing in my career that I love is capturing ..is the relationship between sisters! I have three sisters whom I love dearly… You can tell how much Daniella (the middle child) looks up to her big sister in the first two images. Priceless!

What a beautiful family!

Vine Image is going to be offering a new on-location artist package…where we drive around from location to location, get out of the car and take funky shots just about anywhere. From alleyways to graffiti walls, to fields, abandoned cars etc etc. Bring your kids some funky, crazy, colourful, wild outfits and lets have some fun! I am so excited about this, that I took my own children and my husband out on Grunge shoot! Take a look..we ran into some pretty neat things including a man with a PET TURKEY…yes a Pet Turkey!

This is my eldest daughter Jessica.

My son Jacob…who loves to pose for the camera.

This is my daughter Madison, wearing one of my sterling silver jewellery designs for young girls.

This is my husband…he thought this was pretty funny!

Here is a photo of the pet Turkey!

This is a photo of my husband and I. I set up the shot and my daughter took the photo.

My husband took this one…not bad!
Below you will find one of my dear childhood friends and her family. I find it such a joy and honour to spend time and document the new additions to my childhood friends life! Mike, Shannon’s husband and her two boys Max & Sam were fantastic and a lot of fun! Congratulations Shannon on your beautiful family!
